Working with color can be a tricky thing. The question I get most from surface pattern designers is about what color profile to work in.
In this video, I take away some of the mysteries behind color profiles and why I start my work in RGB. I use one of my designs to demonstrate limitations with colors in production using different types of inks, printing processes and materials. You’ll get a better understanding of RGB, CMYK, and Pantone color.
